Meet Jaq, the natural born leader. Like his best friend Gus, or Gus Gus as he so fondly calls him, he has spent the majority of his life living in an orphanage. He is always the one who helps out the new kids and shows them the ropes. He’s always got some kind of scheme going in his mind and people just tend to follow him. It’s really a shame that nobody ever adopted him to really let his intellect bloom, but Jaq would brush it off if you were to mention it to him. He’s used to having to take care of himself and his friends. The day that changed everything, though, was the day he and Gus happened to witness a local gang-leader, known to everyone as Lucifer, gun down a man in the street. They ran away, of course, but by then it was much too late. Lucifer wasn’t the kind of man to just let something like that slide so he swore to kill the both of them. The orphanage decided the best course of action would be to send the two boys across the globe to Walt Academy to hopefully keep the two of them safe. While Gus doesn’t seem too worried about it, Jaq can’t help but worry. He’s the leader, the one who is always in control, and now suddenly everything seems to be falling apart. He’s determined to find a way to keep him and his best friend safe no matter what though.

Meet Gus, the boy with a simple heart. Gus has spent the majority of his life growing up in an orphanage but he hasn’t hated it as much as one would think he would. He’s happy as long as he has good food and good company and that’s where his best friend since early childhood Jaq comes in. Jaq is usually the one with the good ideas and Gus tags along without complaint. He’s not particularly bright but he’s incredibly loyal and honest, almost to a fault. So how did this simple boy wind up at a school halfway across the globe for delinquents and scholarship students? Him and Jaq had happened to be walking back to the orphanage from school when they happened upon a local gang-leader known only as Lucifer shooting a man point blank. Of course, they ran away and reported the crime right away, but it was already too late. Lucifer had seen their faces and the orphanage shipped them off to Walt in the hopes that it would keep the two safe from Lucifer’s grasp. Despite the less than favorable circumstances, Gus will be okay as long as he has his friends and a good meal.

Mother, I don’t see why everybody else seems to have such nice things to wear, and I always end up in these old rags. This sash! Why, I wouldn’t be seen dead in it!

Meet Anastasia, the devil in disguise. She seems sweet and smiley when you first meet her, but she’s constantly plotting the downfall of others. She’s the headmistress’s oldest daughter and is well versed in manipulation. She’ll play with your heartstrings, buy her way, do anything to get to the top. She’s the biggest ‘frenimy’ you’ll ever make. Anastasia loves watching others fail, fall, crumble beneath her, it makes her feel powerfull. She’s done it to Cinderella her whole life. Now she’s ready to rule all of Walt Academy. She’ll solidify herself first, probably by throwing a major party, then gather followers, then conquer. Its the perfect, most reliable plan.
